Holy shit, I'm posting again.
I wanted to announce a new web comic collaboration project thing that I am doing with my friend Audrey... ah, my OTHER friend Audrey. It's ART, and it's so saucy, that it's full of SAUCE. And it's sticky. And sometimes, very wet. And by wet, I mean the kind that isn't very erotic, but creepy. Which is hilarious. Right?
I created a character that was so captivating, it burned a gaping hole in the mind of my co-conspirator, which caused a comic page to manifest right before her scalding eyes. I'm going to be contributing comic pages as well, because I feel a deep primal desire to do awful, peculiar things to this little bastard. I don't know why. He just looks so... so... soft and gentle, and unaware of the dangers of the world that lurk in the shadows to molest him. But mostly, I like drawing characters that vomit.

| Strange Days |

In 2008, I lived off of government support, EDD. Didn't work except for various freelance gigs. It finally ran out last November. In the last couple of months I've been working part time with my friend Doc designing a game for the XBOX platform. While this particular project may or may not get finished this year, a full-time gig involving the creation of Iphone apps and maybe xbox games has sprung up. I am also moving out of my current digs, the digs I moved into in 2007 while dating the woman from Los Angeles.
While living in the Hill St. House I experienced lots of ghosts, unmentionables, awful thoughts, and revelations. I discovered that I have exceeded my Live journal posts (around 900 posts in 8 years) with my twitter posts (963 posts in ten months).

| mind numbing glee for the holidays |

I'm happy, despite the fact that I carry with me more unsettling bad news than good. Although, It's nothing involving severed limbs, or cancer, or a death in the family, or a car wreck, or the apocalypse, or Aphids, or accidentally aroused tribal gods of evil doom. I just have to find a new place to live.
I haven't written here in awhile. Damn. I joined twitter awhile ago and it's definitely grabbed my attention more than this here old antiquated web journal thing. But I miss writing here. There's more I could write.
I could update you about my needing to find a new place to live by February 1st, 2009. I won't go into the background, because it's a year and a half of writing that doesn't need to be written. Also, I have a new job which is currently part time but will hopefully turn into a full time position in february. Yep. All is changing so fast. Also, I am single.
I'm also wanting to practice Krav maga, which is Israeli martial arts. I may just do strength training though, with a bit of running. This is after I have a new place with a solid full time job. Yes.
Of course, I will also continue posting comics, figure drawing studies, and other artistic things.
I hope people are still sticking around here. I hope I'm reaching somebody. I'd like to say hello. I'm still alive, and i'm still single. Hello ladies!

Today I sucked down coffee in a can and an energy bar at the local Whole Foods Corner Shaft and Go. I mailed out 5 copies of Ofus N Stantch Issue #1 to Isotope Comic Book Lounge to enter into an Indie Comics Award contest.
I returned a pair of pants. I purchased a membership at Cartoon Art Museum to save 20 dollars on the ticket to the PIXAR Fundraiser happening this weekend at their HQ. I had lunch with Doc Pop and Scott from Laughing Squid. I had a delcious New Orleans style Ice Coffee at Blue Bottle Cafe.
I rode up to my old school, Academy Of Art College, to grab some copies of their workshop schedules happening for the fall semester. I rode home to collapse for an hour nap.
Finally, I just finished a delicious grilled chicken burrito from Taqueria La Alteña, which will soon be followed by a redbull and several hours of art making.
Secretly, I wish I had my shit together concerning writing contracts and invoices, pricing various projects, and managing time. Otherwise, I can't complain. Life is good.

There was this tea party with crackers, cookies, Chinese teas, stinky cheeses, dismembered fingers, clown shoes, horns, and Rock em Sock em Robots. Needless to say, I didn't draw any of it when I was there. Instead I drew some shit that was rolling around in my brain waiting to get the hell out. So here are some sketches.
